Pickleball Open



Grab your paddles and join us Saturday, May 3rd at Eastside Paddle Club in Austin, Texas for our charity pickleball tournament! This a 2-man team tournament that will offer both casual and competitive divisions, so all are welcome to come join the fun! 


Tournament play begins at 10am with round robin play for seeding followed by a single elimination bracket style tournament to determine our champions for each division. If you have your own paddles, we highly encourage you to bring them. Otherwise there will be paddles available for rent. Each team is guaranteed 4 games, two drink tickets per player and a great time! 


Most importantly proceeds from the entire day will go towards benefiting the Make-A-Wish Central and South Texas Chapter.

FAQ's

  • Where Do I Park?

    There will be plenty of parking at the venue. There is parking in the front with an extended parking area behind the venue.

  • Will There Be Food?

    While there will not be food service at the venue itself, we’ve partnered with Bambino’s Pizza, located right next door! Show your event wristband at checkout to receive 20% off your food order. Feel free to bring your meal back to the venue and enjoy it while taking in the fun. Please note: outside food is welcome, but alcoholic beverages are not permitted on-site.

  • Should I Bring My Own Paddles?

    We strongly encourage players to bring their own paddles. A limited number of paddles will be available to rent at the venue if needed.

  • How Many Games Should I Expect To Play?

    Each team should expect to play a minimum of 4 games between the round robin and bracket play.

  • What Is The Tournament Format?

    The tournament will begin with round robin games versus teams in the same division you signed up for. Round robin games will used to determine seeding and from there we will move into a single elimination bracket play

  • Should I Sign Up For The Casual Or Competitive Division?

    The casual division is designed for our participants our are more so looking to come out and have a good time whereas our competitive division will be tougher competition and will be made up participants who play pickle ball regularly and have their own DUPR score

  • Do The Winners Get Prizes?

    Yes! We have partnered with Dink pickleball to provide medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each division and 1st place winners in each division will also receive branded hats.

  • What Else Should I Expect On The Day Of?

    We have other various opportunities for you to help support Make-A-Wish the day of with various raffle prizes and our “Challenge a Pro” fundraiser
